Let's catch Iran red deer in snow

Here is a rare video of a red deer in snow nibbling on vegetation at the heights of the Iranian province of Mazandaran.

The video captured by an Iranian forester can take every viewer's mind off any problems in life, even if only for a few minutes.

It may have us thinking about how modern life is taking the essence of our life on a daily basis without giving us any long-lasting sense of comfort.

In the video, the deer seems content and peaceful, something that we humans often strive for but seldom achieve.

Even in the midst of a beautiful winter landscape, the deer reminds us that there is still beauty and peace to be found in this world if we take the time to look for it.

Caspian red deer or maral is a ruminant from the family of cervidae. Caspian red deer are protected in Wildlife Refuges mainly located in the northern provinces of Iran.
