Iran ambitious series goes to Armenia

A-list Iranian historical series 'Salman the Persian' is being shot in Armenia. 

Following the completion of filming certain sequences in Iran, the shooting stage of the series helmed by Davoud Mirbaqeri has begun in Armenia.

The series is based on the life of a Persian companion of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), who played a substantial role in promoting Islam in Iran.

The A-list series is one of the most ambitious television ventures ever produced in Iran.

Alireza Shoja-Nouri, Farhad Aslani, Ali Dehkordi, and Mohammad-Reza Hedayati are on the cast list with more than 1500 Iranian and international actors.
