Taq-e-Bostan dressed white

Taq-e Bostan, or arch of the garden, is a UNESCO declared Heritage site from the Sassanid era in Kermanshah Province, west of Iran.

The area also serves as a lovely picnic place for domestic and foreign tourists who come in large numbers to spend a holiday in this pleasant spot.

The historical-archaeological and tourism complex of Taq-e Bostan contains a series of the finest surviving large rock reliefs, which are some of the best-preserved examples of the Persian Sassanid era sculptures.

The place presents an eye-catching view in winter snow.

These days, the snowfall has made the complex an interesting place to visit.
