Kermanshah to screen 16 Fajr selected films

A lineup of 16 selected films of the 41st Fajr Film Festival is slated to be screened in Kermanshah City.

Azadi, Farhang and Bisotun theaters of the city will host the screening of this year’s edition of the event.

The opening ceremony of the event will take place in the presence of some Iranian cinema celebrities.

This year, the domestic and international versions of the FIFF will be once again held as part of one event titled “Fajr International Film Festival” after five editions of separate versions.

The FIFF coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Since its establishment in 1982, the festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

The 41st edition of the festival, headed by Mojtaba Amini, will take place on February 1-10.
