Fajr festival’s Film Market kicks off

The screening of films of the Fajr International Film Festival’s Film Market section has been started in Milad Tower.

The films are being screened in five screening slots daily.

Iranian movies of this section will go on the silver screen with English and Arabic subtitles for international guests and distribution companies.

This year, the domestic and international editions of the Fajr Film Festival are reuniting under one title—the Fajr International Film Festival—after five editions of being held as separate events.

The Fajr festival coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Since its establishment in 1982, the festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

The 41st edition of Fajr International Film Festival, headed by Mojtaba Amini, will run until February 11.
