Boldaji, capital of Iranian nougat ‘Gaz’

Gaz (Iranian nougat) is one of the popular and traditional confections in Iran.

Gaz is made of honey, egg white, pistachios and almond. It dates back to the Qajar dynasty.

The first Gaz workshop was established in Boldaji City in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province nearly 50 years ago.
