Iranian television to screen Fajr filmfest winners

Iranian television is to screen the selected movies of the Fajr Film Festival during Nowruz.

A number of selected films of the 41st edition of the Fajr International Film Festival will premiere on various channels of the Iranian national television.

‘Hook’, ‘Number 10’ and ‘High Power’ are three of the movies that has sold the screening rights to television.

All of the above films won Crystal Simorghs at this year’s edition of the festival.

Also ‘The Situation of Mahdi’ which won five awards at the 40th Fajr Film Festival will hit the small screens.

‘The Situation of Mehdi’ was nominated in 14 categories at the event.

Written and directed by Hadi Hejazifar, ‘The Situation of Mehdi’ is a war drama portraying the life story of Mehdi Bakeri, the chief of IRGC 31st Ashura Division that carried out several major operations during the war.
