Charitable people distribute free food in Iran

Charitable people prepare and distribute hundreds of free iftar meals in Abdol-Azim Hasani shrine (also known as Shah Abdol-Azim shrine) in Iran’s capital, Tehran, during the fasting month of Ramadan.

During Ramadan, Muslims abstain from eating and drinking from sunrise to sunset when they break their fast with the evening meal “iftar”.

About one thousand meals are given to visitors of Abdol-Azim Hasani shrine and fasting Muslims daily.

That comes as Ramadan sees people doing more good deeds and charitable people distributing free food among others, especially the needy.

The act of fasting in the holy month of Ramadan is aimed at reminding people of the impoverished people and their suffering.
