Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, has commenced in Lebanon
The Arabic dubbed version of the toon is being screened during the holidays.
The film will later be screened in cinemas in Iraq, Syria and some other Arab countries.
The name of the film is inspired by the word "Kermani", which is used by Iranians in Kerman Province to refer to handmade toys mothers made for their children in the past.
‘Loupetoo’, directed by Abbas Askari, is about a hospital where Dr. Saeed Kamali treats his patients with mental health conditions by letting them make toys.
“A person disguised as a patient vandalizes the workshop and causes its closure. The doctor’s son, Ali, tries to help his father to solve the problem,” a synopsis for the film reads.
