Pirjed Village in the central part of Khorramabad city in Lorestan province has a pristine and beautiful nature and the waterfall and natural attraction of Haft Hoz in Makhmal Kouh (Velvet Mountain) is one of the beautiful sights of this region.

The water flow and annual rains have caused the creation of numerous water ponds in this area, which has made it famous as seven ponds. The existence of green fields and stones covered with green color has created a space, as if it is covered with velvet. This is the reason for the name Velvet Mountain.
