Brightlight awards ‘Wound of Shadow’

The second edition of the International Brightlight Film Festival in the US has awarded Iranian ‘Wound of Shadow’.

Written and directed by Rachel Safadel, the Iranian half-length film won a special prize at the US event.

Having a social theme about children's problems, ‘Wound of Shadow’ was filmed in Tehran last winter.

Cast list of the flick includes Haniyeh Khosravani, Shahin Zargar, Mehri Arman, Rahim Safadel, and Parmis Tarkhorani.

The International Brightlight Film Festival - Hollywood - is intended to introduce and reward independent filmmakers from all over the world and become a tool to open the way in the cinema industry.

The second edition of the Brightlight filmfest was held in May 2023 in Los Angeles.
