Spiritual ambiance of Imam Reza’s shrine on his birth anniversary

On the birth anniversary of the eighth Shia Imam, pilgrims from around the world rush to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) for celebrations.

The holy mausoleum of the Imam has been decorated and lit up to prepare for the occasion of the ten days of dignity, which starts with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (SA) and ends on the eighth Shia Imam’s birthday.

During these ten days a large number of lovers and devotees of that Imam and his esteemed sister come to the city of Mashhad to attend at the festivities held on the joyous occasion.
