‘Like a Fish on the Moon’ awarded at TIFF

Iranian feature ‘Like a Fish on the Moon’ has been awarded at the Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF) in Romania.

‘Like a Fish on the Moon’ by Dornaz Hajiha won the best film award at the 22nd edition of the Romanian event.

The film also brought Sepidar Tari the best actress award at the festival.

‘Like a Fish on the Moon’ is about the parents of the four-year-old boy, Ilya, who has suddenly stopped talking.

As they are striving to cope with that situation, they consult a psychotherapist who comes up with a radical solution.

Transilvania International Film Festival is the first and largest international film festival in Romania.

The festival’s mission is to “discover new voices in cinema”, the event’s website reads.

The latest edition of TIFF took place on June 9-18.
