Iran painter’s works displayed at Imam Ali's (AS) shrine

Digital reproductions of the renowned Iranian artist Hassan Ruholamin's paintings have been displayed within the sacred premises of Imam Ali's (AS) shrine in Najaf, Iraq.

These impressive artworks were installed in preparation for the celebration of Eid al-Ghadir, an important event for Muslims, commemorated on the 18th of Dhul Hijjah.

This significant day marks the appointment of Imam Ali (AS) as the successor to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which occurred during the Farewell Pilgrimage in 632.

During the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) return from Hajj, he made a stop in a region called Ghadir Khumm.

Ruholamin's artistic repertoire includes several captivating canvases depicting religious events themed on Imam Ali (AS).

Notable among them include ‘The Conqueror of Khaybar’ which portrays the Imam's victorious act of removing the door of the enemy's fortress during the Battle of Khaybar.

Last year, this artwork was beautifully reproduced as a large mural on Imam Ali (AS) Highway in Tehran, serving as a delightful tribute to commemorate Eid al-Ghadir.
