In a groundbreaking move for the Iranian entertainment industry, a highly ambitious TV series has embarked on the production stage with a staggering ensemble of 200 actors.

During a recent interview with local media, Director Seyyed-Jamal Seyyed-Hatami said, "In this TV series, 260 actors will be in front of the camera, with 110 actors confirmed so far."

With an ensemble of this magnitude, 'Mahyar Ayyar' is set to captivate audiences, a media report said.

The TV series produced by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), consists of 30 episodes and is scheduled to be completed before the holy month of Ramadan.

Taking place against the backdrop of the Safavid era, a pivotal period in Iranian history, 'Mahyar Ayyar' promises to transport audiences back in time.

The remaining actors will be carefully selected and featured in various episodes as the filming of this remarkable project progresses.

With its expansive ensemble, enthralling historical setting, and an experienced director at the helm, 'Mahyar Ayyar' is poised to become a landmark production by the IRIB.
