Tehran Int’l Short filmfest extends deadline

Tehran International Short Film Festival has extended deadline for entries.

The 2023 edition of the Iranian festival extended the entries deadline for 10 other days.

This year’s edition will be launched in order to identify and introduce the best short works at the national and international level and to create cultural justice in all parts of the country. A constructive competition is also held between filmmakers.

In this festival, films that focus on localism in the genre and use creativity and innovation to produce diverse and numerous works from Great Iran are of special importance and are the priority of selection and judging.

The festival has been organized by the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, affiliated to Iran's Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. The festival organizers say the event aims to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.

The 40th edition of the festival is scheduled for October 19-24, 2023.
