‘Paper Dream’ wins in Greece

Iranian feature ‘Paper Dream’ has won an award at the Athens International Film & Art Festival in Greece.

In its 68th international appearance, the film directed by Ali Atshani, grabbed the best film award at the 2023 edition of the event.

The film is about an Albino teenage who has been out of public eye because of his appearance. The boy falls in love with a young girl who has taken advantage of his pure heart and made him a social media influencer.

The story of the film is based on an idea by Atshani, but the film’s screenplay is written by Jaber Qassem Ali.

‘Paper Dream’ is starring Kamran Tafti and Mina Vahid.

The movie has participated in and won many awards at various international film festivals.

“AIFF - International Film Festival tries to make brand new offline platform for experience exchange and networking for filmmakers, distributors, producers, media,” the official website of the event reads.

The organizers look for projects of different types that will form the offline event schedule.

The goal of the festival is to build international relationships for many years ahead and improve filmmaking in Greece.
