Dates: Top souvenir from southern Iran

Dates are one of the top souvenirs from the southern provinces of Iran, especially Khuzestan.

There are different kinds of dates, which are famous for their health benefits.

The harvesting of dates from more than 20 million palm trees in Khuzestan’s Abadan has already begun.

It is estimated that 70 thousand tons of dates will be picked from those palm trees.
