Biodiversity in Bamou National Park

Bamou National Park, is one of the natural attractions of Iran.

The Park, as one of the important natural areas in Fars Province, has a very rich biodiversity.

With an area of 48,000 hectares, it is located in Shiraz County and has been under protection for about 50 years.

One of the important biological aspects of Bamou National Park is the presence of the Iranian leopard. This region is known as the best habitat for the Iranian leopard, and a significant population of this species lives there. The Iranian leopard is one of the rare species, and preserving suitable habitats for it is very important.
