International Storytelling Festival calls for entries

The International Storytelling Festival in Iran has called for entries for its 25th edition.

According to the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (Kanoon), the festival’s organizer, the theme of the upcoming edition of the event is “We put smiles on faces by stories.”

The upcoming edition of the festival will include several sections, including “Modern and Classic”, “Traditional and Ritual”, “Sign Language” and "90 Seconds".

The festival will also include an international competition section named “International Storytelling” in which foreign and Iranian storytellers can participate.

Those interested in taking part in the festival have until October 22 to apply to the festival via this link: kanoonfest.ir.

The International Storytelling Festival aims to popularize storytelling among people from all walks of life and promote the capacity of storytelling as a comprehensive educational approach.  

The upcoming edition of the festival will be held in December.
