iFilm TV to wave goodbye for ‘Zaferani’

iFilm English TV Channel has set to air the final episode of ‘Zaferani’ on Sunday night.

The final episode of the series, produced by Iraj Mohammadi and directed by Hamed Mohammadi, will be aired on September 3, 2023 at 23:00 GMT.

The series is about a little cozy teahouse at the foot of the mountain in Tehran.

It is being managed by the Zaferani family where mountaineers and people from the neighborhood visit every day.

When Mr. Zaferani first came to Tehran from Mashhad, a friend of his, Mr. Motamed, gave him his land to work on it, and Mr. Zaferani built the Tea House there.

But the problems start when Mr. Motamed dies and his eldest son, Homayoun, wants to take the land back and build an apartment complex there.

Among the cast list are Mehran Ahmadi, Setareh Eskandari, Mehrdad Ziaee, Narges Mohammadi, Mehdi Hashemi, and Hadis Miramini.

‘Zaferani’, produced in 2016, will be replaced by ‘Unannounced’ made by Bahador Asadi.
