A peek behind the scenes of iFilm's audience favorite 'My Sky'

As 'My Sky' continues to reign as a favorite action series, handpicked by our iFilm audience, we're taking you back in time with excerpts from an interview conducted with the series' screenwriter, Houman Fazel, a few years ago.  

With a background in drama, Fazel has written and directed numerous series, films, and TV programs. He considers his collaboration with director Mohammad-Reza Ahanj on 'My Sky' to be particularly successful, attributing its uniqueness to the complex screenplay and a large ensemble of actors, including guest stars. Here are some highlights from his interview.

Fazel said, "The idea for this series had been in Mr. Ahanj's mind for quite some time. He had been thinking about making a series or movie about this topic for about nine years. Although he had made plans earlier, there were problems that stopped it. When everything was ready, he asked me to write the script because we had worked together successfully on three other projects."

'My Sky' is about people who keep flights safe, with three main characters: Sadiq, Rahmat, and Amin.

The journey to create 'My Sky' started with a lot of research and talking. Fazel was the one who wrote the complicated script. He also said, "This series is different from others because it's complex, and many actors, including guest stars, are part of it."
