In the wake of the recent devastating events in Gaza, Iranian artists and actors have taken to their social media platforms to condemn an Israeli airstrike on a hospital in the Gaza Strip that left hundreds of people dead.
The attack on Al-Mu'amdani Hospital in Gaza has been labeled by many as a cruel act of genocide, prompting a resounding outcry from the Iranian artistic community.
Farzad Hassani, known for his role in the iFilm TV series ‘The Cloudy Years’, minced no words when he condemned the bombing, stating, “Anyone who questions Israel being a criminal should be shut up. Israel is an absolute evil”.
Majid Vasheqani, star of ‘My Mother’, expressed his condolences by stating, “Condolences should be given to humanity”.
Hootan Shakiba, renowned for his role in ‘The Graduates’, simply wrote, “And the life of these children...” highlighting the heartbreaking impact on the youngest victims of this conflict.
Houman Haj-Abdollahi, who has played a significant role in ‘Mr. and Ms. Sangi’, emphasized the plight of children in war, saying, “Children are the most oppressed victims of any war. A curse to war.”
Alireza Khamseh, star of ‘The Man with a Thousand Faces’, added, “Words do have pain sometimes but they have no voice”.
Iranian singers, including Mohammad Motamedi, Garsha Rezaee, and Rouzbeh Bemani, have also expressed their anguish over what they described as genocide in the Gaza Strip.
