Iran cinema thespian Fereydoon Azma dies at a hospital in Iranian capital city of Tehran.
The Iranian actor/ movie production manager’s son confirmed that his father departed this life Wednesday at the age of 73.
Azma played a significant role in making great films of all time in the Iranian cinema, including ‘Hamoun’ and ‘The Tenants’ both directed by Dariush Mehrjui.
He also appeared in movies such as ‘The Sweet Smell of Life’ by Abolhassan Davoodi and Bozorgmehr Rafia’s ‘Prosecutor’.
The demise of the Iranian artist comes on the heels of Khosrow Shakibaee’s death anniversary on Wednesday. Noted Iranian actor Shakibaee played the lead in highly acclaimed title ‘Hamoun’ on which Azma was part of the crew.
