Mobile screenings propel new Iranian film sales

New Iranian religious movie 'Okht-O-Reza’ has captivated audiences nationwide, gaining a staggering sales achievement.

According to a media report, the picture directed by Mojtaba Tabatabaee and produced by Soureh Cinema Organization has found success in cinemas and through mobile screenings, collectively amassing over 20 billion rials in sales.

The film follows the life story of Hazrat Masoomeh (SA), the sister of Imam Reza (AS).

In the ninth century, Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) initiated her momentous journey from Medina to reunite with her sibling, Imam Reza (AS) in Iran. In an unfortunate turn of events, the eighth Shia Imam, after residing in Iran for several years, was martyred at the hands of the Abbasid caliph, Mamoon.
