iFilm's movies for upcoming weekend

Catch the latest updates on iFilm TV Channels' weekend movies and plan your TV time based on your language of choice.

The weekend varies through the sister channels of iFilm English, Arabic, Farsi and iFilm2. Therefore, the end of week falls on Thursday on iFilm2 and iFilm Farsi, Friday and Saturday on iFilm Arabic, and Saturday on iFilm English.

iFilm English:

Kissing the Moonlike Face’ is to go on air on iFilm English TV on Saturday December 16 at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm2:

Looking for a period of pure emotional TV time? Don’t miss Kamal Tabrizi’s ‘Sheida’ on Thursday December 14.

The flick is about an Iranian soldier who is wounded in Iraq-Iran war and taken to the hospital. Since his eyes are bandaged, he can only hear the voice of a nurse named Sheida, who recites the holy Quran to calm him down. Farhad falls in love with her, but he loses contact with the nurse before the bandage is off. Then, he searches everywhere to find her.

iFilm Farsi:

iFilm Farsi is set to air another TV play titled ‘Doctor Faustus’ on Thursday December 14 at 17:30 GMT.

Doctor Faustus sells his soul to the devil and commits evil acts in his life. Yet he passes away right at the time he means to repent.

iFilm Arabic:

On Friday December 15 at 19:00 GMT, Jamshid Heidari’s ‘The Rifleman’ will come to you on iFilm Arabic.

The film is about the unrests by the end of the Qajar dynasty. The people of villages and cities in the north and south of the country were under pressure to provide food for the foreign forces. In one of the northern villages, one of the residents becomes the leader of the resistance.

iFilm has planned a surprise for its audience that have always wanted to watch movies in both Arabic and English. This Saturday December 16, you can watch ‘Kissing the Moonlike Face’ in both languages, as iFilm Arabic will air the movie as well.
