iFilm2:

Iranian historical series ‘The Pahlavi Hat’ has been set to hit the air on iFilm2.

In the seriers, Farrokh Bastani is a poor young man who goes to Paris to continue his studies. Suffering from World War I, Farrokh has to deal with several problems in France. He marries a French girl and finds his way to the Iranian Embassy in Paris. Returning to Iran, the Iranian state minister appoints him as governor of a little county. Now he is determined to rebuild the county in modern and western style.

The series will be aired from Saturday December 30 at 16:30 GMT.

iFilm Farsi:

From Sunday December 31, iFilmers can watch ‘At a Crossroads’. The series will be aired every day at 14:30 GMT.

'At a Crossroads' shows the stark contrast between a spiritual and a material lifestyle. It is the story of a man who comes from a poor neighborhood. He inherits a huge amount of wealth and his life changes overnight, but not necessarily for the better. In his new life, he loses many things, including his family and friends.

(**It should be mentioned that the calendar of iFilm2 and iFilm Farsi are different from iFilm English, with Saturday being the first day of the week.**)

iFilm Arabic:

iFilm Arabic TV has a busy week as three of the series on its playlist will wrap up and give their screening slots to other shows.

Dear Brother’ is a new series to be added to the channel’s playlist from Sunday December 31 at 19:00 GMT.

The new series tells the story of three brothers who are emotionally attached to each other. However, some secrets about their past are revealed and they have to choose between a moral decision and preserving their close relationship.

A magnificent Iranian biopic titled ‘Lighter than Darkness’ will be televised from Monday January 1 at 18:00 GMT.

The series tells the story of Sadr Edin Mohammad Shirazi, known as Molla Sadra. He was an Iranian philosopher and theologian during the reign of Shah Abbas the First of the Saffavid Dynasty. A contemporary of the likes of Sheikh Baha’ee, Mir Damad and Mir Fendereski, Molla Sadra is considered to be the most influential Muslim philosopher in the past four centuries. Even though he was persecuted for his new philosophical insight, he never gave up on his passion to search for the truth.

From Saturday January 6, Iranian series ‘In Search of Peace’ will come to you every day at 15:00 GMT.

This new addition is about two pharmacologists who are friends and run a pharmaceutical company in Iran. Their friendship goes down a bumpy road because of some problems over a newly-invented anti-cancer medicine.
