IRIB chief commends tech advances in 'Prophet Moses'

In a significant development for the Iranian television industry, Peyman Jebeli, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), along with his team, has visited the set of the highly anticipated series 'Prophet Moses'.

The visit entailed a thorough examination of the latest technological advancements behind the scenes, with a specific focus on a localized virtual production technology test.

This signifies a historic milestone for the series as the team pioneers the introduction of localized virtual production technology in Iran.

Expressing his satisfaction with the progress, Jebeli emphasized the significance of the IRIB's commitment to supporting this project. He stated, “’Prophet Moses' holds a paramount position in IRIB's priorities, with the organization steadfastly supporting the young and skilled forces of the production team, dedicating all its resources to achieve this groundbreaking technology.”

He noted, “The localization of this technology in 'Prophet Moses' will bring a significant shift from traditional to modern industrial production methods in Iran's serial production and cinema industry. The team's dedicated efforts over the last 9 months have culminated in this transformation, and IRIB wholeheartedly embraces and supports this positive change.”

The 'Prophet Moses' series, directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia, has been undergoing pre-production with a team of more than 300 individuals working in a shroud of news silence.

Hatamikia, the acclaimed director, conducted the successful technology test using a team of local young experts.

The pre-production journey of 'Prophet Moses' began several years ago under the efforts of producer Seyed Ahmad Miralaee. The production, spanning various sections and involving extensive material preparation, is currently in full swing.

The series aims to not only captivate the domestic audience but also make a mark on the global stage, particularly in the Islamic world.
