It is about a man called Soleiman Siraf who, according to historical documents, was the first sailor to cross the Indian Ocean to China. His route was then called the Maritime Silk Road and many merchants took that route to get their merchandise to China. One of the passengers in this film is a young man named Shazan Ibn Yousof who keeps a log of the voyage. The Maritime Silk Road started in The Persian Gulf and continued into India, Thailand and China.
The channel is also set to televise ‘Waiting Girls’ in Arabic on Saturday January 20 at 19:00 GMT.
Saeed is a medical student who is experiencing a financial trouble. He is in debt and does not know what to do. Out of desperation, he marries a sick girl called Roshanak in order to get a marriage loan to pay his debts. They decide to get divorce after the loan is issued, but Saeed finds out that he does not want to leave Roshanak. Their plan is going on very well until it comes to light that there is another woman involved.
