Ayoub Aqakhani brings lit. to life in 'The First Leaf'

Famed Iranian director, playwright and actor, Ayoub Aqakhani, has directed 'The First Leaf'.

The show is an exclusive iFilm program that brings the magic of storytelling to life on television.

Aqakhani, a leading figure in Iranian theater for over two decades, will walk the show's viewers through the Persian literary works with the help of fellow actors like Asha Mehrabi.

Each episode delves into excerpts from classic and contemporary Iranian novels, promising a charming exploration of Persian literature.

Aqakhani holds a Master's degree in Dramatic Literature and has penned and directed several plays, including the acclaimed 'A Short Duet for the Autumn'.

His talent has been recognized at prestigious events such as the 42nd Fajr International Theater Festival in Iran, where he received the best director award for television plays.

Aqakhani was a jury member of the 12th National Theater Festival for Children of the Mosque.

Aqakhani's keen understanding of storytelling extends beyond the stage. He has garnered a reputation as an experienced audiobook narrator, captivating audiences with his excellent narration of translated acclaimed novels such as Paula Hawkins' "The Girl on the Train."

The director has combined his theater experience and narration skills in 'The First Leaf' to create an unforgettable viewing experience.
