Leader shares Quran lesson for humanity

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei quotes from the Quran for American University students.

In a letter published on May 25, 2024 to the American University students, the Leader mentioned part of a Quranic verse that states, "Don't oppress and be oppressed"(2:279).

The quote emphasizes fair treatment in human interactions.

In his letter, Ayatollah Khamenei also told protesting students in universities and colleges across the United States that “you stand on the right side of history” in defending Palestinians and demanding an end to Israel’s genocidal war in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Hundreds of students and professors have been suspended or fired for taking part in these popular demonstrations.

Israel's genocidal war on Gaza has killed more than 36,000 Palestinians so far. Resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.
