The 6th edition of the Int'l Urban Film Festival announces jury members for ‘neighborhood’, ‘animation’, and ‘short’ sections.
The jury panel includes Ruhollah Hejazi, Pouran Derakhshandeh and Hamid Nematollah in the ‘neighborhood’ section, Ravanbakhsh Sadeqi, Maryam Kashkouli Nia and Hadi Mohammadian in the “animation” competition, and Amir Toodeh Nia, Mohammad Hamidi Moghaddam, Robert Safarian, Monir Gheidi and Hadi Moghaddam Doust in “short and semi-feature fiction”.
48 works will vie at the neighborhood competition, as well as 39 in the animation and 31 in the short sections.
Organized by Tehran Municipality, the International Urban Film Festival’s main focus is on the significance of city and urbanism in human life. The event also seeks to promote empathy and moral values in cinematic works and offers a platform for exchange of ideas and experiences among the cities worldwide.
The 6th edition of Festival will be held from July 31 to August 5, 2017, in the capital Tehran.
