Born on March 21, 1973, Bijan was born into an artistic family. He is the son of the veteran actor Reza Banafsheh-Khah.
His uncle Mahmoud Banafsheh-Khah was also an actor in Iranian TV and cinema.
Bijan is the second child of his family. He has two brothers named Hajir and Pejman.
