Iran Int'l Sports film fest extends deadline

The 14th Iran International Sports Film Festival has extended its submission deadline.

The fest's director announced that the deadline for submitting films to the 2024 Iran International Sports Film Festival was extended to August 22.

Seyyed Mojtaba Alavi noted that over 410 films have already been applied to participate in the event.

The entries include 250 international films from 54 countries and 160 Iranian films. 

This festival represents the International Federation of Sports Television (FICTS) in Iran.

Filmmakers can submit their works until August 23 via the festival's website: www.sportfilmfest.ir.

The festival is supported by Iran's National Olympic Committee, Ministry of Youth and Sports, National Paralympic Committee, Tehran Municipality, Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance as well as Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).
