The 36th edition of the International Festival of Films for Children and Youth (ICFF) is set to open registration on August 10.

According to Mehr News Agency, citing the media relations and information office of the festival, Iranian filmmakers with feature and short films are invited to submit their works.

Registration is open from Saturday, August 10 until August 21.

Filmmakers can submit their applications through the official festival portal at www.portal.icff.ir.

The evaluation and judging management has announced that the complete regulations for this year's festival have already been published through a call in the media and are available on the festival’s website.

The 36th International Festival of Films for Children and Youth will take place from October 5 to October 10, coinciding with National Children’s Week.

Established in 1982, this annual film festival is hosted in the historic city of Isfahan.

The event, chaired by Majid Zainabedin, will bring together audiences and artists in Isfahan, celebrating the vibrant culture of children's cinema.

The ICFF is organized by the Iranian Organization of Cinema and Audiovisual Affairs, Farabi Cinema Foundation, and the Municipality of Isfahan.

The festival shows a diverse array of quality feature films, short films, and animations from around the world.

It also includes daily workshops, panels, and lectures conducted by renowned Iranian and international cinematic figures.

The festival aims to bring children closer to culture, art, and ethical values such as family unity, respect for humanity, self-esteem, social responsibility, environmental concerns, and love for the earth.

Additionally, it seeks to raise awareness about future challenges that upcoming generations might face.
