iFilm's movies for upcoming weekend

Catch the latest updates on iFilm TV Channels' weekend movies and plan your TV time based on your language of choice.

The weekend varies through the sister channels of iFilm English, Arabic, Farsi and iFilm2. Therefore, the end of week falls on Thursday on iFilm2 and iFilm Farsi, Friday and Saturday on iFilm Arabic, and Saturday on iFilm English.

iFilm English:

On Saturday September 7 at 22:00 GMT, the movie ‘Aziz’s Summer’ will take you to the holy city of Mashhad in Iran.

Aziz, a friendly nice old lady and her grandson, Hamid, decide to go to Mashhad without telling their family. Hamid, a football fanatic, hopes to see his favorite football team’s match there. However, Aziz is strongly against it. The tables turn once Aziz finds out more about the game.

iFilm2:

‘Confiscation’ is the title of the movie that will hit the air on iFilm2 this weekend.

Set in the US and Armenia, Mehran Ahmadi’s ‘Confiscation’ is a comedy that follows the story of a SAVAK (Iran's security service before the Islamic Revolution) agent escaping to the US after the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Watch the comedy movie on Thursday September 5 at 16:30 GMT.

iFilm Farsi:

iFilm Farsi is set to air ‘The Warden’ on Thursday September 5 at 17:30 GMT.

The film depicts an old prison in the late 1960s in south of Iran. The prison is to be evacuated as it is close to the city’s airport which is under development.

The head of the prison, Major Nemat Jahed, and his officers are in the midst of transferring the prisoners to the new facility.

iFilm Arabic:

In the case you wish to watch iFilm’s ‘I Laugh by Your Side’ in Arabic, tune into iFilm Arabic TV on Friday September 6 at 19:00 GMT.

As the weekend on the channel is extended over two days, you can have another movie night on Saturday September 7, when ‘Good Woman, Good Man’ will come to you. Watch the movie at 19:00 GMT.
