Hazrat Masoumeh's (SA) series to produce

Tehran-based Simafilm Center has announced the upcoming launch of a monumental artistic endeavor, a television series titled ‘Lady Masoumeh (SA)’, which will delve into the life of the revered figure.

Mehdi Naqavian, the head of the Simafilm, confirmed that the project is in the pre-production phase, with aspirations to begin filming soon.

Naqavian emphasized the significance of this series, classifying it as an "A-List" category production—an elite level of television artistry that demands extensive effort and substantial resources.

Despite the challenges, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) remains resolute in its commitment to producing works of such caliber and is actively striving to expand the portfolio of high-quality projects.

The 30-episode series is directed by Javad Afshar, a seasoned filmmaker renowned for his meticulous approach.

Afshar has previously disclosed that while Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) is the central figure, the production team is currently deliberating on respectful ways to portray her presence onscreen without depicting her face.

Alternative creative solutions are being explored to ensure the work aligns with cultural and religious sensitivities.

Adding to the series' credibility, Ayatollah Ahmad Abedi, a professor at the religious seminary in Qom, serves as the project’s religious advisor, ensuring the narrative remains authentic and respectful to the historical and spiritual context of Hazrat Masoumeh's (SA) life.
