The poster for the 43rd Fajr International Film Festival in Iran has been unveiled, featuring a tribute to the classic Iranian film 'Mother'.
According to the festival's public relations office, the unveiling took place at a ceremony on Wednesday, attended by the Cinematic Organization head, Raed Faridzadeh, festival director Manouchehr Shahsavari, members of the selection committee, and the production team of 'Mother'.
The poster for the 2025 Fajr Festival features a still from the classic movie 'Mother,' in which the late Iranian actor Roqiyeh Chehreh-Azad played the role of the mother.
The film, directed by Ali Hatami, progresses along two distinct but interwoven series of events.
The first series involves young members of a family who have gathered around their old mother and revived their shared childhood memories.
The second line focuses on the old woman’s preparations for her last journey and joyous cooperation in arranging for the ceremonies to be observed after her death.
The festival is held this February.
