Iran marks birthday of Hazrat Zainab (SA)

Today marks the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zainab (SA), the sister of Imam Hussein (AS), a day officially designated as National Nurses Day in Iran.

The occasion honors the tireless dedication and round-the-clock efforts of nurses, recognizing their vital role in providing care and compassion in the health system.

Zainab (SA), who had personally witnessed the martyrdom of her brother Imam Hussein (SA), as well as other victims, assumed the task of delivering the message of Ashura and the Battle of Karbala to the people of the time and to the generation to come.
