A cordial gathering of Iranian artists celebrate the 60th birthday of popular Iranian actress Mehraneh Mahintorabi.
The 25th edition of a program to celebrate artistic achievements of veteran Iranian actors with a focus on sustainable families titled ‘Birthday of the Month’ marked Mahintorabi’s birthday on August 11, 2017.
“Since all of us are dependent on each other and our destinies are mingled together, I’ve always liked all of us to support each other,” Mahintorabi said.
A number of famous Iranian actors and actresses, including Elham Pavehnejad, Akram Mohammadi, Marzieh Boroumand, Behrouz Baqaei, Parastou Golestani, Afsar Asadi, Behzad Farahani, and Siamak Atlasi, attended her birthday anniversary, appreciated her for all her efforts and achievements and offered their presents.
Born in 1957, Mahintorabi studied acting and directing at Tehran University.
In 1986, she made her cinematic debut with ‘Golbahar’.
From 1990 to 2014, she acted in movies such as ‘Malak Khatoon’, ‘The Sheriff’, ‘The Winning Card’, ‘Don't Put Your Foot Down’ and ‘Ceasefire’.
Mahintorabi is mostly famous for her roles in popular series such as ‘The Spouses’, ‘The Green House’ and ‘On the Way to Zayandeh Roud’, from 1994 to 2010.
Hosted by Omid Mohammadnejad, ‘Birthday of the Month’ honors Iranian artists above 60 years old.
