ifilm to air series ‘Antsy’

ifilm’s new series, ‘Antsy’, has been scheduled to go on air starting August 15, 2017.

The series is produced by Ebrahim Zahedifar and directed by Gholamreza Ramezani.

Tahmineh is an old woman living in a village with her daughter, Farzaneh, who is a teacher. They have a happy life together.  In fact, Farzaneh has not immigrated from the village to the city to take care of her mother. Tahmineh also has a son, Farzad, who lives in Canada. Since his wife is ill he is not able to travel to Iran to see his mother. Thus, he invites her to go to Canada.

Tahmineh does not know how to deal with that issue. Finally she decides to go to Canada to see her son but at first he has to pave the way for the trip. The process of preparing things for the long journey, makes changes in her simple life.‌

Among the cast list are Pari Amirhamzeh, Saeed Pour Samimi, Bahram shah Mohammadlu and Parvin Ghaemmaqami.

‘Antsy’, produced in 2011, is to replace the series ‘Top Secret’ to be broadcast at 23:00 GMT (03:30 Tehran time).

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00 (all GMT time). ‘Antsy’ is comprised of 12 segments.
