Iran short film ‘Animal’ has been scheduled to be screened at the 18th Calgary International Film Festival in Canada.
Iranian short film ‘Animal’ co-directed by Bahram and Bahman Ark joined the main competition section of the event along with ‘Retouch’ and ‘Lunch Time’.
The 15-minute film had previously received award from Cinéfondation category at the 70th edition of the Cannes Film Festival in May.
“A man wants to pass the border illegally; so he hunts a ram and decides to escape disguised as the animal,” a short synopsis of the film reads.
The Calgary International Film Festival is a film festival held annually in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for twelve days.
The 18th edition of Calgary Film Festival will be held from September 20 to October 1, 2017.
