Iranian movie ‘Cyanide’ has hit the silver screen in the Canadian city of Montreal.
Behrouz Shoeibi’s film began its Canadian tour in the city of Vancouver on November 16.
Being a historical picture, ‘Cyanide’ underlines the choice between life and death, heroic living or graceful dying.
“Amir and Homa find each other after a while. Yet they have just one choice: cyanide or survival, and they choose to live,” a synopsis of the film read.
The film’s cast members include Mehdi Hashemi, Haniyeh Tavasoli, Babak Hamidian, Hamed Komeili, Pedram Sharifi, Behnoush Tabatabaei and Atila Pesyani.
‘Cyanide’ was first screened during the Film Market at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival in France.
In October, the film opened in Iranian movie theaters.
