Iranian short film ‘Alan’ is to be screened at the Beirut International Film Festival in Lebanon.
Directed by Mostafa Gandomkar, the acclaimed film will be displayed at the non-competition section of the event.
The Iranian short film made its international debut at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival held February 3-11, 2017 in France.
“Many Kurdish people have lost their homes and families in ISIS attacks. This is the story of one of them,” a festival catalogue described ‘Alan’.
Launched in 1997, the Beirut International Film Festival has hosted many international and Middle Eastern names.
The 17th edition of the festival is scheduled to be held on October 4-12, 2017 in the Lebanese city of Beirut.
