Tehran opens National Crafts Exhibition

Tehran has opened 28th edition of National Crafts Exhibition, placing a plethora of Iran artworks on show.

A pavilion of the expo, titled ‘Iranian House, is decorated with a great deal of Persian handicrafts and artworks suitable for different rooms, including kitchen, guest room, sitting room, and bedrooms.

Two halls offer a wide range of handicrafts by Iranian artists from Kerman, Hormozgan, Bushehr, Gilan and Mazandaran provinces.

A section of the exhibition devoted to children displays educational items for youngsters. The section has digital productions, toys, and other forms of handicrafts for children.

A number of locals present their traditional beverages and dishes, including tea, regional bread and stews, in local handicrafts.

The National Crafts Exhibition will come to an end on August 29, 2017.
