Iranian experimental ‘Trial of an Anonymous Woman’ has received an award from The Action On Film Int’l Film Festival (AOF) in the US.
The 13th edition of the AOF, held in August, picked ‘Trial of an Anonymous Woman’ as its best experimental work of 2017.
Directed by Iranian filmmaker of the Southern Province of Hormozgan, Mohamadreza Rokneddini, the 21 minute work, examines the situation of human being in the society of today.
Rokneddini’s 14th title has been produced by two independent producers of the same province, Banafsheh Ebrahimi and Zobeydeh Gerdakani.
This edition of the festival picked the flick as the best in the category of experimental projects from some 60 Iranian films.
The jury judging the Iranian works in the festival was comprised of Nabi Zie, Mehdi Yarmohammadi, Maryam Pirband, and Mehrdad Salek.
AOF is for filmmakers, writers, producers, actors, DPs, composers and post production professionals to have their work recognized and honored.
The 13th edition of AOF was held on August 17-27 in Las Vegas where film enthusiasts piled into the participating theaters.
