Iran movie ‘Yeva’ by Anahid Abad has premiered in Armenia in the presence of Iranian and Armenian officials.
Produced by Taghi Aligholizadeh, the Iran-Armenia coproduction started screening at the Moscow Cinema in the Armenian capital city of Yerevan on Saturday.
The director and the cast of ‘Yeva’, critics, reporters and artists participated in the inauguration ceremony.
The flick stars many recognized actors and actresses from Armenia such as Narine Grigoryan and Shant Hovhannisyan. The movie is also set to apply for a slot at the latest edition of the Cannes Film Festival.
‘Yeva’, a woman who is under prosecution in connection with her husband’s murder, faces challenges in her life, the movie synopsis read.
