Iranian animated piece ‘Unveiling Ceremony’ is to vie at the FIC ESMI film festival in Argentina.
Directed by Mehdi Boustani, the animation is to be screened at the eight edition of the Argentine event.
The animation is about justice and set in no particular country while showing the world going into disarray, the director said earlier.
Directed by Mehdi Boustani, ‘Unveiling Ceremony’ has been screened at the film festivals Grenoble (France), Detmold (Germany), Movie ScreenPro, New Animation (both in the US), Iranian film (Paris), CyBorg (Italy), and Cartoon Club Rimini (Italy); it previously won special mentioni at the New Animation International Film Festival in the US.
The International Short Film Festival FIC is a major event held annually since 2009, to offer the general public a real cinematographic experience, with daily screenings of the national and international short films participating in its ESMI contest.
The 8th edition of the event will be held October 6-20 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
