‘Salaam Mumbai’ director says he has scheduled an India trip to cast the title role for a sequel to his Indo-Iranian blockbuster.
Ghorban Mohammadpour told local media on Friday that he will soon go to India to look for an actress taking up the title role for the sequel, ‘The Devil's Daughter’ (Salaam Mumbai II).
The director also noted that he has already submitted his application for a working visa in India to shoot his next cinematic project.
The high-grossing film 'Salaam Mumbai' did well at Iran box office, starring Iran megastar Mohammad-Reza Golzar and female Bollywood superstar Dia Mirza.
‘Salaam Mumbai’ narrates the love story of a well-off Indian girl meeting an Iranian medicine student in Mumbai. As the story unfolds they both run into some complications along the way.
Some other casts of the movie include Indian movie stars Dalip Tahil, Simran Mishrikoti and Shaili Mahmoudi.
