Iranian short documentary ‘Owsia’ is to compete at the Braunschweig Int’l Film Festival in Germany.
Directed by Alireza Dehghan, the documentary will be screened at the 31st edition of the festival.
‘Owsia’ tells the story of a 2,500 year old Aqueduct which goes to sullage during its 84 kilometers of journey.
A living UNESCO environmental heritage site is dying under irresponsibility and wastewater pollution is poisoning pure and clear water during the 84 kilometers of its current.
Founded in 1986, the Braunschweig film festival is the oldest festival in Lower Saxony, Germany.
Around 280 film industry professionals – filmmakers, actors, producers, composers and the press – attend the festival to watch around 170 full-length and short films on six screens.
